About Us

 Hi there, Welcome to our website! Here is a little bit about us. We are Nathaniel + Nicole Klok. We have three boys that love to tag along and help with planting, irrigating, harvesting and all the in between things that come with running a market garden! We are located in Southern Alberta near Picture Butte.

Prairie Roots Produce is a family owned and run business. All of our produce is grown locally and without the use of any herbicides or pesticides.

Our main focus is on growing root veggies. Some exciting news is that we also store our produce throughout the winter months so you can purchase our products basically year around! (while supplies last)

We stay busy growing beets, carrots, potatoes + green onions. We also have dried products that have been quite popular! As of right now we have dried green onion powder + flakes, dried dill powder, dried beetroot leaves + dried beetroot powder.

Our boys also have their own pumpkin patch that they start from seed in the spring. In the fall, they get to sell their pumpkins and save the money for their own baby calf. They look forward to doing this each year!

We hope to continue to provide you with chemical free produce.
